Walaw, a Montréal-based AI-native platform built for health and wellness clinics, today announced that it has been named one of Canada's Top 100 AI & Tech Startups, a prestigious national recognition presented in collaboration with Scale AI and Mila. The annual selection highlights 100 of the country's most promising AI companies based on the strength of their innovation and their contribution to advancing Canada's artificial intelligence ecosystem.
Walaw's AI agents are already deployed across more than 70 clinics in Québec, Ontario, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick, with rapid expansion across Canada underway.
Problem & Mission

About Walaw
Founded in Montréal by three co-founders and backed by an experienced team, Walaw is on a mission to become the AI-native system of intelligence for health operators and clinic owners.
The company's ambition goes further: instead of clinics juggling across several disconnected tools, Walaw wants to be the single orchestration layer that runs all of it, the one place where every operational step or patient interaction gets captured, acted on, and reported back to operators and admin staff.
The name "Walaw" (pronounced wa-LAO) is Lebanese slang for "you're welcome" or "it's my pleasure", reflecting how patient experience has been at the core of the product from day one.
